Protest From Women's Political Network

BELGRADE, July 16, 2002 - Women members of the Serbian Parliament have registered a stern protest against a statement by Aleksandar Tijanic, media advisor to the Yugoslav president. Tijanic, a former information minister in the Milosevic regime, described journalist Natasa Odalovic as "the call girl of Serbian journalism". MP Milka Marinkovic told media that the president should dismiss Tijanic for his behaviour and language.
