Concern Over Journalist's Safety

BELGRADE, July 17, 2002 - The Committee for the Protection of Journalists is concerned fro the safety of Danas journalist and Radio Free Europe correspondent Natasa Odalovic. "I have been followed for the past three days and am very concerned for my safety," Odalovic told the Committee. She believes that she has been under surveillance since July 5 when she wrote that Aleksandar Tijanic, advisor to Yugoslav President Vojislav Kostunica, had said that Serbian Prime Minister Zoran Djindjic was engaging in contracts for murders.
