Montenegrin Media Legislation Unacceptable

PODGORICA, July 22, 2002 - British Ambassador to Yugoslavia Charles Crawford has said a number of clauses in the media legislation adopted in Montenegro recently are unacceptable. The amendments were pushed through parliament by the Liberal Alliance and Together for Yugoslavia coalition. Montenegrin President Milo Djukanovic has branded them undemocratic.
