Fired editor accuses partner of slander

NOVI SAD, 21.8.2002 – “Slanderous statements made in public have caused great harm to my reputation and honour, if these claims are not retracted and my further work and participating in management not enabled, I will be forced to seek satisfasction through normal court proceedings” announced Mirko Sebic, dismissed Editor-in-Chief of Bulevar magazine. He is facing criminal charges of embezzlement pressed by his partners from Panonia Press which owns Bulevar magazine. Sebic warned that although he had a 35 percent stake in the firm, from August 10, under threat of physical force, he had been unable to gain entry into the firm’s premises.
