B92 Chief Rebuts Publika Criticism

BELGRADE, September 24, 2002 – Daily Publika has published a letter from the editor-in-chief of B92, Veran Matic, in which he takes issue with a number of statements in the article “Kostunica rents the 18th floor of the Belgrade Palace”. “The article contains a number of lies about B92 and me personally. It is not true that TV B92 news programs begin with statements from Vojislav Kostunica followed by criticism of Djindjic’s reforms. B92 criticises both sides and is covering the election campaign in a balanced manner,” wrote Matic.
