Monitoring, Not Censorship for Montenegrin Media

PODGORICA, January 30, 2003 – All Montenegrin broadcasters are to be controlled from a single centre with monitoring conducted by the independent Broadcast Agency. “This is not going to be state censorship,” deputy Information Minister Abaz Dzafic told media today. He added that the all media network relays in Montenegro would be controlled in this way and that media would benefit from it.
