Procedural Delays

BELGRADE, January 23, 2003 – The Public Information Bill and draft legislation on free access to information of public importance could be tabled in the Serbian Parliament by the end of next week, and assistant to the minister for culture said yesterday. Belgrade daily Danas quotes unofficial sources as saying the information legislation is not what journalists had sought and that most provisions have been removed from the draft submitted by the Centre for the Development of Legal Studies.
