Serb Journalists Boycott Steiner

KOSOVSKA MITROVICA, February 3, 2003 – Journalists from a number of Serbian media outlets decided on Saturday against reporting on UNMIK chief Michael Steiner’s visit to northern Kosovska Mitrovica because the translation of his speech for the press was not provided, Mirjana Milutinovic reports for B92 The Serbian reporters and local media journalists walked out as Steiner was delivering his speech because they did not have a translation into Serbian.
