ANEM: Cekic appointment "incomprehensible"

BELGRADE, 6 June, 2003 – ANEM, The Association of Independent Electronic Media, has protested the appointment of Nenad Cekic as chairman of the newly formed Broadcast Agency Council. ANEM described the decision to elect Cekic as “incomprehensible”, bearing in mind that his membership of the council contravened provisions governing formation of the Council stipulated in the Broadcast Act.
