Final Broadcast Council appointment on the agenda

BELGRADE, 14 May, 2003 – The Serbian Parliament are to discuss the appointment of Goran Radenovic as the ninth and final member of the Broadcast Agency Council. Radenovic, from Pec, Kosovo, was nominated in late April by Recently elected members of the independent watchdog. His biography and ID card have been handed to MPs, who will vote on his membership. Regulations stipulate that the ninth member should live and work in Kosovo and Radenovic’s ID card was issued in Pristina in 1994 with a ten-year duration. The Broadcast Agency Council will have wide powers in the field of broadcasting.
