Milanovic sues Beta for publishing quotes

BELGRADE, 9 May, 2003 – Former Radio Television Serbia director Dragoljub Milanovic is suing agency Beta. The agency has learned from the investigative court that Milanovic, jailed for failing to clear the RTS building prior to a pre-warned NATO bombing raid, is suing them for publishing a report claiming that he had laughed at the parents of the 16 killed RTS employees at a trial last year. Beta published the accusation, which was allegedly made by the parents themselves.
