Together we stand…

BELGRADE, 10 July, 2003 – Some forty media houses came together in Belgrade yesterday to establish the Association of Newspaper Publishers and Broadcasters of Serbia-Montenegro. Slobodan Reljic, chief editor of Belgrade weekly NIN, was elected chairman of the assembly for the coming year. Manojlo Vukotic, chief editor of the Novosti Company, became chairman of the Board of Directors, while TV5 chief editor Slavica Nikolic-Corbic and Nedeljni Telegraf chief editor Momcilo Djorgovic were elected vice-chairs. Politika's Darko Ribnikar will chair the managing board. Members include Belgrade dailies Danas, Glas Javnosti and Blic, weekly Vreme, and broadcasters TV Pink, BK TV, RTV Studio B and TV Palma Plus. A statement called on others to join.
