Anti-Corruption Council member resigns “Over Pink and the Seychelles”
BELGRADE, 28 July, 2003 – Nikola Milosevic has left the teetering Anti-Corruption Council, saying: "I decided to resign for a number of reasons. Firstly, because the Government took the side of Television Pink in the conflict over the distribution of national frequencies, which can only be explained with some low political reason, and not one that has to do with principles". He continued: "The resignation is primarily my personal act and not a collective decision. Since things stand this way, I acted guided by reasons that I see as the most important. Members are planning a collective resignation if the government fail to meet basic requirements and Milosevic added: "Of course, I have nothing against all members of the Anti-corruption Council submitting their resignations together, but it’s not for me to decide."
