Raseta threatens libel charges
BELGRADE, September 4, 2003 - Serbia's telecommunications and transport minister, Marija Raseta-Vukosavljevic said today that she would seek legal protection from an article in daily Balkan which "overstepped all boundaries of professional journalism". A statement from the information ministry claimed that Raseta-Vukosavljevic has no connection with Information Technologies, as claimed in the Balkan story "Raseta owner of Serbian hot-line". "Not a single claim in the article has any connection with the truth. "Again someone wants to discredit everything the ministry has achieved through a public lynching," said the ministry statement.
