NEW THREATS TO MEDIA

VRANJE, September 15, 2005 – President of Vranje Municipal Council Nenad Stosic has issued new threats to Radio OK staffers. Correspondent of B92 from Vranje Radoman Iric reported that the owner of Radio OK Goran Vladkovic informed the police today and demanded protection of radio premises and staffers from potential attacks of Stosic and his security. Such decision came as a result of another Stosic’s verbal attack on the journalist of Radio OK, Dragan Zivkovic. “He threatened the journalist to whom he first spoke and who recorded the whole interview. He told him that he would feel ‘suffering and pain’ and that friends of his would be ‘paying a visit’”, Vladkovic said.
