TV SUBSCRIPTION BEGINS NEXT MONTH

BELGRADE, October 13, 2005 – State media subscription charge will begin next month, together with the monthly electricity bills. “What is left now is for Serbian Electric and Radio Television Serbia to agree on a method of payment for the television subscription”, Serbian Mining and Energy Minister Radomir Naumov said. Naumov said that this new procedure will be ready to go by November. The Serbian Government adopted a proposal at a meeting held yesterday to speed up changes needed to be made to the Broadcast Act which relate to the implementation of television subscription plans.
