DJILAS: I’M NOT BUYING TV BK

BELGRADE, December 13, 2005 – Director of the People’s office Dragan Djilas denied being interested in buying into TV BK. Djilas denied the stories that one of his companies was interested in buying TV BK and added that the negotiations with the foreign funds and companies on the sale of his minority part of the company Direct Media were underway. Djilas said he had not seen Bogoljub Karic, or had any conversation with him for more than 6 months. He also said the well-known position of the Democratic Party was that, as long as Karic owned the electronic media, he could not be considered a representative of the democratic block.
