CREDITORS CONTACT TV BK

BELGRADE, January 18, 2006 – Creditors of TV BK have begun to claim their dues, thus causing the blockage of the station’s account for some time, B92 reported. Spokesperson of the Meridian Bank Sanja Corovic said this bank had already claimed the debt from TV BK. Corovic also said that the bank account of the station was not blocked, but could not specify if this was a case at some point. “It is true that the Meridian Bank has activated today the request for settling all outstanding credit debt approved to TV BK for exclusive telecast rights for the World Football Cup 2006 in Germany. Currently, however, the account is not blocked”, said Corovic.
