B92 SUBMITTED APPLICATION FOR TENDER

BELGRADE, March 27, 2006. – B92 has submitted its application for radio and TV frequency competition to the Broadcast Agency. The closing date for submitting application expires on Monday. The Broadcast Agency will announce the list of candidates by April. The competition envisage five national TV and radio frequencies, 40 regional television stations, 50 regional radio stations and around 500 local broadcasters. To be eligible to apply, the stations needed to provide required documentation in four copies. “I suppose there is enough space for filing the entire tender documentation, which will be examined by the members of the Broadcast Agency Council and experts from the Agency. I hope they will honestly do their job and respect the diversity of requirements and contribution to program quality. The deadlines are envisaged by the Act, and I do not doubt for a second that all members of the Council will read the whole documentation”, said Slobodan Kremenjak, B92 legal representative.
