CHURCH STILL HOLDS EQUIPMENT OF TV TRSTENIK

TRSTENIK, April 3, 2006 – The equipment of TV Trstenik has not yet been returned by the deadline set in the decision of the Krusevac Municipal Court, said yesterday the president of the municipality Radovan Raka Radovic. “The ruling is pursuant, the deadline has expired, the decision of the Municipal Council provides that the Church must return everything to the last screw, and we will officially demand court’s execution”, Radovic said. According to Radovic, the Municipality will not re-employ 28 members of staff that have left the municipal television station to work at the television of the Zicka Diocese, but will continue to work with the remaining 27 employees and with the equipment that will be returned. The Trstenik Municipality lost its local television station between the two rounds of elections in 2004, when the then municipal councilors decided to donate this public media company to the Zica Diocese, starting the court proceedings that last for year and a half now.
