STATE TELEVISION RECEIVES BOMB THREAT

BELGRADE, 26 June 2007 (Beta) - Serbia's state televison, RTS, said that it received a bomb threat Monday evening.

While the evening news was being broadcast live, a specialized police unit checked the facilities of the state-owned outlet, helped with specially trained dogs.

The police were called in after RTS received a telephone warning that there was a bomb in the building.

The police are investigating the source of the bomb threat.
