ANEM Marketing was established as a department of the Association in May 2002 with the aim to represent the interests of members before strong marketing agencies and their clients, to sell their advertising space and carry out other commercial activities in the interest of the Association: production, selling, buying and distribution of radio and TV programs and advertising material.

Marketing department of the Association enabled its members to jointly carry out marketing activities primarily aimed at marketing agencies, which probably would not consider advertising on certain stations with small coverage. With this department ANEM has also support the development of marketing services of its stations.

It was soon clear that it was necessary to expand business activities in this field and make this department more liberated in its work to be able to achieve better results. Principles of the market, based in this scope of work primarily on the number of viewers or listeners which could be sold to advertisers, have dictated the direction of development.

The managing board of the Association decided to create new marketing brand A-MEDIA, under the corporative auspice of ANEM. This new company, registered in June 2004, completely took over ANEM marketing and sales activities, expending its activities and number of stations it worked with for a very short period of time, thus filling demographic unused space, replenishing variety of profiles and formats of the stations to meet the diversity of demands of the clients.

Using the twelve-year-long experience of ANEM in the quest for professionalisation of media and communication in Serbia, A-MEDIA rapidly develops other activities as well, primarily in the production field - production and adaptation of commercials, targeted films, video clips and radio spots of TV and radio stations.

In mid 2006, this newly created brand becomes ANEM's executive partner in education and production activities.
