AJ+ konkurs za dokumentarce - Rok: 25.8.2014.
AJ+, Al Jazeera's new digital channel, is joining the Camden International Film Festival in Maine to give five documentarians the chance to pitch their films.
At least one documentary will leave the festival with an AJ+ commission worth up to US$10,000. All selected filmmakers will be provided with an all-access pass to the festival and a stipend to support travel to Camden and accommodations during the festival weekend.
The program seeks short documentaries that engage audiences with the following questions:
- What are the emergent cultural, political or technological trends that are shaping our lives in surprising ways?
- How are individuals or communities responding to crises that threaten their future in unexpected ways?
- What does ‘sustainability' look like?
The submission fee is US$25. The deadline is Aug. 25.
